The Board is Recruiting a Marketing Team

Volunteers are being sought for brainstorming marking ideas for the club.

To the friends of Dottie Key:

I would like to thank all our friends in the the Dayton Ski Club for the support during Dottie's illness and after her passing for the support given to her and the family in the way of cards, phone calls, visits, food, beautiful flowers, and just the love that was shown by all. Dottie had about 400 people attend the viewing and a large majority were ski club friends. The club has really been a big help in getting me through this time of need and I can never thank all of you enough.

Who is going Ziplining with me?

Ozone Zipline Adventures, is one of the newest attractions in southern Ohio. Based out of the YMCA Camp Kern, in Warren County, OH, this zipline tour is the longest tour in the Midwest , traveling over 10,000 feet in length (2 miles). This website, www.ozonezips.org , is definitely worth looking at so you can get the full scope of the trip activity.

Hopefully, the trip can be booked in September. I will be looking into group rates. Presently, the cost per person for the zipline is $75.00. I think this could be a great family outing as well as a wild ride for all of us!

I will need an approximate number of people interested to book this outing, so email me (Carol) at "carolewald" at "woh.rr.com" immediately. Since this is a new activity, trips will be sold out quickly. You do not have to be a Dayton Ski & Board Club member to attend. Maybe we can organize an overnight camping trip in conjunction with this adventure?
