A Message from Bob Key on Dottie

To the friends of Dottie Key:

I would like to thank all our friends in the the Dayton Ski Club for the support during Dottie's illness and after her passing for the support given to her and the family in the way of cards, phone calls, visits, food, beautiful flowers, and just the love that was shown by all. Dottie had about 400 people attend the viewing and a large majority were ski club friends. The club has really been a big help in getting me through this time of need and I can never thank all of you enough.

Good-bye Lee

Help Fill the Void by Volunteering!

Lee Gulley has resigned as a Trustee and chairperson for the Adopt-a-Highway Program since he will be a Florida resident as of September 1. We thank Lee for his dedication to the Club in both of these positions. However, for the club to continue to develop Lee’s  Adopt-a-Highway Program one of us needs to volunteer to chair this program.  The Adopt-a-Highway Program happens twice a year -once in the spring and once in the fall.  It probably requires a total of 12 hours a year of your time.  This would include making several phone calls to set up the time, date and location with the county, placing the ads in the newsletter,  6 hours of actual clean up, planning the lunch location after the clean ups, a follow up article and storing the bibs. Please take some time and think seriously if you could volunteer 12 hours a year to chair this event.
