A Message from Bob Key on Dottie

To the friends of Dottie Key:

I would like to thank all our friends in the the Dayton Ski Club for the support during Dottie's illness and after her passing for the support given to her and the family in the way of cards, phone calls, visits, food, beautiful flowers, and just the love that was shown by all. Dottie had about 400 people attend the viewing and a large majority were ski club friends. The club has really been a big help in getting me through this time of need and I can never thank all of you enough.

Canoe Trip August 14

The Dayton Ski and Board Club presents the FUNNEST one-day trip of the whole year: Our annual Canoe Trip with Cookout and Picnic!

Saturday, August 14
Arrive at 10AM; transport bus leaves at 10:30AM
Picnic starts at 3PM

Cost: $30 per person

Little Miami Canoe Livery, Old Mill Base (in Oregonia, just outside Lebanon, Ohio).

Light weight, easy-to-use canoes are provided. Cookout Picnic afterwards includes Food, Wine, Bier and Pop.

BE PREPARED TO GET WET! A WET APPETITE FOR FUN IS REQUIRED!

Please bring:

  • Water cannons, squirt guns, water balloons, and other water battle gear
  • Cooler, swim suits, towels, old sneakers and sun tan lotion
  • Plastic baggies for snacks, cameras, or anything else you wish to keep dry in the canoes
  • Dry clothes and shoes for the picnic

Please Note:

  • Alcohol is NOT permitted on the river
  • You may leave your car keys with Little Miami Canoe Rental staff

Optional on-site camping and showers available Saturday night.

Directions From Dayton

  • I-75 South to Exit 29 (Monroe Exit). TURN LEFT onto Rt. 63.
  • Follow Rt. 63 to Lebanon. At Golden Lamb Restaurant Rt. 63 becomes S.R. 123.
  • Follow S.R. 123 South, one mile past McDonald's, under overpass, TURN LEFT at first traffic light.
  • Make a quick RIGHT TURN and follow Wilmington Rd. five minutes.
  • TURN LEFT at first stop sign PAST river
  • Rental office will be on the left.
