A Message from Bob Key on Dottie

To the friends of Dottie Key:

I would like to thank all our friends in the the Dayton Ski Club for the support during Dottie's illness and after her passing for the support given to her and the family in the way of cards, phone calls, visits, food, beautiful flowers, and just the love that was shown by all. Dottie had about 400 people attend the viewing and a large majority were ski club friends. The club has really been a big help in getting me through this time of need and I can never thank all of you enough.

DSBC's Summer Family Picnic at Carriage Hill Reserve August 21

Carriage Hill Reserver

Please join us for a little summer fun at Carriage Hill Reserve in Huber Heights, OH on Saturday, August 21 from 10AM - 3PM.

Advanced reservations required; please contact Steve Blatt at 239-5979 or sblatt@udayton.edu.

Cost: $10 per person; includes the following activites, except where additional cost is noted

Activities will include:

  • Horseback riding ($18); 1hour session; 8 years old +; 2 sessions available: 10AM and 12Noon (arrive 15 minutes early; please wear long pants and closed toe shoes)
  • Pony ride ($3); all day
  • Trail hiking and biking; 10AM - 1PM
  • Lake fishing; all day
  • Working farm exhibits; all day
  • Picnic; sheltered lunch with food and drinks provide 1-3PM
  • Park admission, parking, fishing, and trail use AT NO COST!
  • Possible nature walk with a naturalist.

Directions
Carriage Hill MetroPark is located off of I-70 at State Route 201/Brandt Pike. Go North for one mile to the park entrance at E. Shull Road.
